Sign ups have finished

Great news! All the kids have been allocated. If you're reading this it means you were hoping to sign up but we've already got enough people helping out this year.
Follow us on Facebook and we'll let you know first when next year's sign ups open, as well as other cool ways you can help throughout the year when we come across them.

In the meantime, there’s a lot of awesome groups you can support, and a lot of ways you can make a difference - I went out and asked the Wellington team which was the most deserving, local cause in their opinion, and I’ve listed them here.

You'll notice first on the list is Stationery Starter Packs - this is a really simple one that I run alongside Wellington Shoebox Christmas. It provides stationery packs for low decile school leavers headed off to college next year - the schools tell us the stationery needs of each kid, and we fill a backpack with everything they need - then drop it off before school finishes. This year we’re also bringing some kids in from three local schools (Porirua and Linden), to design an online reading tracker - then next year we’ll use this to track their reading progress and incentivise those who achieve their reading goals.

Cheers,
Pera

I run this project in my spare time, that's free, but the web hosting, bulk email tools etc., aren't. Any help is appreciated!
